I am trying to verify exactly what V71.09 means - or get more specific meaning behind the description. I show two different definitions:

  V71.09 No Diagnosis on Axis II
  V71.09 No Diagnosis or Condition on Axis I

V71.09=Observation and evaluation for suspected conditions not found, other suspected mental condition

V71.09 is a billable medical code and can be used to specify a diagnosis on a reimbursement claim.
V71 states that it is the "observation and evaluation for suspected conditions not found" and the .09 version of it mentions "other suspected medical condition"
